Michelle Janowsky, PA-C, MHS, MS

Board-certified Physician Assistant with over a decade of surgical experience, including extensive training in general acute care, trauma surgery, and six years in plastic and reconstructive surgery at a Level I Trauma Center. For eight years, I worked closely with breast cancer patients, supporting women through complex surgical and reconstructive journeys and walking alongside them through some of the most vulnerable seasons of their lives. Now practicing in the community where I was born and raised, I am passionate about helping women feel confident and healthy by using aesthetics and regenerative medicine to enhance natural beauty — not change who you are. My approach blends surgical precision, safety, and artistry with compassionate, patient-centered care. My goal is to create a space that feels personal, supportive, and rooted in community.

 

My passion for caring for women is also deeply personal. Through my own journey navigating endometriosis, health challenges, and infertility leading to IVF, I’ve experienced firsthand how closely our health, confidence, and identity can be intertwined. Those experiences have given me a deeper empathy for the physical and emotional chapters women walk through and have shaped my commitment to helping women feel like themselves again. Whether that means restoring confidence, navigating intimate or hormonal concerns, or supporting overall wellness, I strive to create a space where women feel truly heard, supported, and confident.

Beyond work, I cherish time with my husband, our two children, and our large extended family. We’re happiest outdoors — camping, attending local gatherings, and building the same Pagosa memories I grew up loving. I also enjoy expressing my creativity through oil painting, interior decorating, crafting, and many other hobbies.
